Prayer Writing

The children wrote their own prayers.  We discussed the purpose of prayer.  We pray to thank, to praise, and to ask. We did this in February in conjunction with Valentine's Day.  The children wrote beautiful prayers, typed them on the computer and read them as class prayers on a daily basis.

Dear God, 

I thank you for everybody in the world.  You love me and I love you.
