Honesty

We are always encouraging children to tell the truth because it is the right thing to do.  Children need to know that sometimes we don't make good choices but that when they tell the truth and ask for forgiveness they will always be forgiven.  I tell the children that we learn from our mistakes and that we make better choices next time.

Here are the children responses as to what Honesty means to them:

"You don't lie."

"Always tell the truth, even if you don't want to, you have to."

"Promise to tell the truth."

"It means you don't lie to people."

"If you did something bad, you tell someone."
